Spring Concerts

All 3 girls had a great time participating in Spring Concerts this year.  Jaclyn played the flute at school this year, and she really improved throughout the year!  And, Ashlyn was honored to be able to play her guitar with the school choir as they sang, "Thrive."  She worked hard on it and did a great job!  She also got to sing a solo on "This Little Light of Mine", and Jaclyn got to sing with a small ensemble.
And, Kendall had a great time at her concert as well!  She sang with enthusiasm and a big smile!

Club Volleyball 2014!

Jaclyn got to play her first year of club volleyball this year!  We had a 5th grade team for the first time, with Dad coaching, and she had a blast!  Learned a lot and also had a lot of fun!

Ashlyn's 9th Birthday!

Ashlyn had a glow in the dark birthday party this year and it was really cool!  We did some art projects with fluorescent paint and a black light and they had a blast playing flashlight tag!  She had a great time with her friends and created some special memories!

Basketball for 2

Jaclyn and Ashlyn both had a chance to play basketball this winter.  Jaclyn with the Heritage team and Ashlyn with the Rec team.
Jaclyn hasn't been consistent with playing basketball in the past, but she decided that she wanted to give it a shot this year with the school team.  She had a great time playing and learned a lot throughout the season!

And Ashlyn has always enjoyed playing with her friends through the Rec Center.  Dad gets to be her coach, so that makes it even more fun!

Jaclyn's 11th Birthday!

We had a great birthday party for Jaclyn's 11th birthday!  She chose to go to the ice skating rink, which was a hit for all!  Unfortunately, there was a little mix-up and there ended up being a hockey game that night, so we didn't have as much skating time as we had hoped, but we got to play some fun games in the party room, so it all turned out well.  After all, any time with friends is a good time, right?

Snow White!

Jaclyn had the privilege of participating in the musical, Snow White, this year.  She was one of the mirrors in the hall of mirrors.  This is such a great way for her to experience being in a large production and seeing the example of older kids using their talents.  A great way for her to develop her own talents!

Christmas 2014

Just a recap and some quick pics about Christmas 2014!  Time is flying by and it's hard to keep up with all the memories, but I'm gonna try as much as I can!

Christmas is always a special time with family and friends, so here are a few pictures to capture the memories of this year:

We've been blessed with a very special faith family (small group through our church), and we had a gingerbread house making contest this year!  Sorry to say we didn't win, but the fun is in the process, right?  :)
And, of course, we always get to go to Kansas City and spend time with the Anderson side of the family.  Lots of chaos, laughter, and music.  Again this year, we got to do a mini concert at the nursing home where Grammie is staying.  Always a nice time to share the talents that God has given the grandkids!

Sweet memories.
