Gettin' Big!

Look who's sitting up!
She's getting so big so fast. It definitely flies by with the 3rd one. 6 months has been a big turning point for us. All of a sudden she snapped out of her difficult stage (which lasted throughout month 4 and 5), and now she's a really easy baby! I hope I don't jinx (is that how you spell that???) myself, but for now she's going down for naps soooo easily...which is a complete turnaround from the past 2 months. So, I am breathing a sigh of relief and enjoying my happy baby. A tooth also popped through recently (which could've been the reason for the difficult stage), and Kendall is starting to want to move. She's started to discover the joy of rolling around and now is loving sitting up. I think we're at the beginning of the movin' and groovin' stage. Before I know it she'll be into everything (probably about the time we move!!!)

Sold!

We sold our house!
After 3 weeks of hardly any activity, we had a week of craziness and two offers!

So, it looks like we're moving.

We've been toying with the idea for quite some time now, but up 'til now, we hadn't found a house that was right for us. Well, this year we found it, so we're taking the big step. It's a little scary, but things are falling into place, so we really feel like God is giving us the O.K.

So, I'm sure there's much more blogging to come on this subject in the coming weeks since we're moving in June. Lots to do between now and then!

Happy Easter!

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday! The girls are completely exhausted, but we had a very fun day. Waking up to Easter baskets and matching dresses for church makes the day special for sure. Then after church we got together with some friends for an Easter picnic at the park and a great big Easter egg hunt. The kids played and played and loved running through the grassy field on the hunt for Easter eggs. We were blessed with pretty good weather this year (although we're a bit wind-blown), so it was fun to be able to be at a park with friends. We just may have started an annual event (but just watch...next year the temps will be in the 40s!).

Looking out my window

I love looking out my window in the evening. The sun sets behind the trees and I love the silhouette that it creates. It's very calming for me. I think it started making an impact on me when I was pregnant. I would come down from putting the girls to bed and lay on the couch, easing my aching back while looking out the window. There was many a night that I laid there for quite a while, and now this scene is still special to me.

Tonight's sunset was beautiful, so I thought I would share it with you.
