Caricatures

Our dentist was having an open house on Saturday to celebrate their office "birthday" of one year (we got to know this dentist well after Ashlyn's accident), so we went to help them celebrate. They had a bounce house and ice cream, but they also had a man doing caricatures. As each girl sat in the chair (yes, Ashlyn actually sat there, can you believe it?), he asked them what their favorite thing to do was. That turned out to be a very hard question for Jaclyn. She listed: playing bowling on the Wii, riding her bike, reading a book. So he gave her a little while, and she finally decided on playing golf on the Wii. When Ashlyn was asked that question, she said: take a bath, read a book and go to bed. (Whatever!) So, we decided for her that swinging would better represent her character. It's funny what they come up with!
