We had a chance to take a quick trip to Omaha this past weekend with Grandma Pitcher. It was just long enough to make it exciting, but short enough for the little ones to endure. On Friday we visited the Omaha Zoo for the first time. The girls really enjoyed it, but unfortunately it rained in the afternoon, so we didn't see it all. We did see a bunch of outside stuff in the morning hours, and then we were able to head inside for the afternoon, so it was still worth it.
Then on Saturday we headed over to the Omaha Children's Museum. The girls always enjoy these museums, so it was a great time. (Hands-on is definitely what we need!) And it's always fun to see what different museums have.
It was a great little get-away.
