Anderson Family Reunion

We went to Kansas City over Memorial Day weekend to have a family reunion with my dad's side of the family. My Aunt Barbara and her 4 kids and 3 grandkids all came from North Carolina and Florida. We hadn't seen them for a very long time, so it was really nice to get caught up with them. My Aunt Barbara has been diagnosed with ALS, commonly known as Lou Gerrich's Disease (I don't know how to spell that!), so this may be the last time she will be able to travel. It was very special to be able to spend time with her. She's doing wonderfully! Here are a few pictures from our weekend.

Are we there yet?

My grandparents with most of their great-grandkids. (Jim's son, Shaan, and Katie's son, Michael, were not able to come.)

My dad, Aunt Barbara, Grammie & Papa (my grandparents)

Ashlyn swimming at the hotel with my cousin, Tommy. (I didn't bring swimsuits.)
And then, of course, mom ended up in the pool with her clothes on! I was on the steps with Ashlyn, when Jaclyn got her foot caught on an inflated whale...that ended up deflated. She fell off, but her foot was caught in this deflated whale, and she was struggling to stay up. Thankfully Craig and I were both close by, but I ended up with wet clothes. I would gladly get wet again to make sure my kids were safe.

FUN times!! Hope the trip was good - it looks like you guys had a good time; including the dip you took!
