We are wrapping up the year of our preschool swap. Jaclyn and 3 of her friends, Alayna Prachar, Amanda Weih and Abigail Anderson had preschool together every Wednesday. The moms took turns rotating the teaching, so it was a wonderful way to teach the girls and give moms a break for 3 out of 4 weeks in a month. We went through the whole alphabet, learning the letter sounds and practicing writing skills, and then worked on numbers and basic skills like following directions, listening, and developing social skills that they will need when they all start preschool in the fall. It has been a great experience for Jaclyn and has helped prepare her for school.

What a wonderful idea :) We are going to do something like that this fall with the boys!
